Assassin’s Creed: Rogue tells the unique story of Shay Patrick Cormac an Assassin who become disillusioned with the way of the brotherhood after a disastrous event with an artifact. Shay turns on his former brothers and alongside his new Templar friends hunts down the people he once worked for.
As I mentioned before this game was released the same date that Unity was but because of some issues that plagued Unity, Rogue was pushed into the shadows and was kind of forgotten about. At least I heard no buzz about it that was until many months later when I picked up the game. This game was good, VERY GOOD. It added the ship combat that made Black Flag the hit that it was. It also contained a lot of the better elements from Assassins Creed that I liked … being able to move a body after you kill someone was a major one. Also the fact that there is a part of this game that overlaps with Unity made it that much cooler to me.
If you haven’t played this one do yourself the favor and pick this one up. Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will include all of the downloadable content from the original game: two bonus missions (The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable), as well as the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain weapons, customization items and special outfits, including Bayek’s legacy outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will be available on March 20, 2018, for PlayStation4 Pro and Playstation4 computer entertainment systems, and across the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X.
