Today has been a great day, not only did we get to see some of the games coming Xbox Series and PS5…we got to take a trip to Valhalla! Ubisoft released the first gameplay of their upcoming action-adventure title Assassins Creed Valhalla.
With the new gameplay, we also got some news about how Assassins Creed will play on Xbox Series X. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Xbox Series X will use the enhanced graphics engine to give players a look at Norway and England in unbelievable detail. Also, with the console’s faster loading time, it will be much easier to get engrossed in the war-ridden dark ages like never before.
Xbox announced that Smart Delivery technology is coming to the platform as well. This will give allowing players the chance to play the game on their current console and get on Xbox Series X. This is great news, especially with the economic problems the world is having.
Lastly, we also found out that the game is mainly being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the team behind Assassin’s CreedIV Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Origins, two of the best AC titles of all time. Creative Director Ashraf Ismail had this to say about Assassins Creed on Xbox Series X:
“As developers, we’re always excited to work with new hardware because it gives us a greater ability to express our creative vision. Assassin’s Creed has always been committed to exploring new technologies and leveraging new consoles’ abilities to deliver the most immersive experience possible. We are excited to be collaborating closely with Microsoft to bring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the Xbox Series X.”
I think we can all admit that we’re excited about what is to come from Assassins Creed Valhalla in Holiday 2020, but what console will you be getting it on? Come back soon for more news on the news consoles, Assassin’s Creed, and all things Gaming!
