Telltale Games has outdone themselves. Not only have they done a great job keeping their Warner Bros. Interactive collaborative Batman game shrouded in mystery, they’ve also released an incredible first trailer. There aren’t too many companies that can get away with revealing nothing until two weeks before a game’s first episodic release.
Furthermore, before today, we didn’t even know when the first episode would come out. Finally we have confirmation that Batman- The Telltale Series‘ first episode “Realm of Shadows” will be available for download on August 2, 2016. This lines up perfectly for the release of the Season Pass hard copy on September 13, 2016.
Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale’s vision of Batman will feature an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitelas Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Additional cast and characters will be revealed as the season progresses.
SDCC attendees will get a special advanced playthrough of the first game, prior to the worldwide debut. Our own team members will be on the floor and will be reporting all the news from the biggest Con of the year.
Are you ready to see a side of Batman we haven’t experienced yet?
