Boundary Could Be The Next Big FPS, Beta Available Now on Steam

Over the last few years, we have seen some great changes to the FPS genre. Games like Call of Duty and Battlefield have contributed to these changes with game add on like COD’s Warzone 2.0 and Battlefield 2042 Portal Mode. Though these are both different styles of FPS titles, they have really pushed the envelope when comes to making exciting first-person shooter experiences.

Developer Studio Surgical Scalpels is looking to push the envelope further with their latest title Boundary. On February 6th, Steams Next Fest started with a ton of demos and beta of games coming in 2023 and one of those games was Boundary. Boundary is first-person shooter set in space, you play as an Astroperator that is tasked to take on an enemy team of Astroperators that are trying to take over your space statation.

So far, from what I have played, the game is a wonderful new take on the first-person shooter genre. With space suit flight controls, emps, and bad ass space battles, this might just be one of the better FPS titles I have played this physical year! Though there is not a set release date for this title, the game is looking to release this year! Make sure to head over to the Next Fest Steam page now before the 13th to join in on the fun and check out the trailer below!

Boundary is a multiplayer tactical space-based shooter that puts players in the role of a heavily armed astronaut, called an Astroperator, engaging in fierce team vs team zero gravity firefights and executing low-gravity operations on orbiting space installations against other enemy Astroperators and other entities
