Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will hold its worldwide reveal on August 26, 2020. On that date, we’ll likely uncover what actual gameplay will be like, because this timeline isn’t like most that CoD has explored.
Previous Call of Duty games were in eras that fought wars in a traditional sense. You’re a soldier in the trenches fighting other soldiers on the battlefield. Or you were a futuristic soldier running on walls fighting other futuristic soldiers. However, the Cold War wasn’t actually a war that was ever fought on a battlefield. Rather, it was fought in the shadows with spies and operatives, not necessarily soldiers.
