During Sony’s State of Play presentation, Activision/Infinity Ward showed off a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trailer focused on the story.
Everyone knows I’m not the biggest first-person shooter fan, and generally pass on most of them. That said, the new Modern Warfare trailer revealed this afternoon is pretty damn impressive and has me itching to try it out:
The focus of this trailer is obviously on the story gamers will be playing through. While that’s normally not the big focus of Call of Duty games (and often are pretty short), it looks like they’re really pushing for something engaging for fans to play through. It’s certainly managed to pique my interest!
In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons. The heart-racing fight will take you from London to the Middle East and other global locations, as this joint task force battles to stop full-scale global war.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare hits consoles on October 25, 2019.
