Spyro Brings the Heat in the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Launch Trailer

It’s been quite the auspicious year for Spyro the Dragon, as he’s been touring the world celebrating 20 glorious years of existence, whilst gearing up for a highly-anticipated glide down memory lane in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.  Today, just so happens to be another milestone for the iconic purple dragon, as it is the 20th Anniversary of the day Spyro first landed in Europe in Spyro the Dragon.  In honor of that incredible achievement, Activision and Toys for Bob aren’t presenting Spyro with the traditional 20th anniversary gifts of China or Platinum.  Instead, they’ve decided to gift Europe and the rest of the world this amazing launch trailer for Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.

Spyro’s back and he’s all scaled up! Same sick burns, same smoldering attitude, now all scaled up in stunning HD. Spyro is bringing the heat like never before in the Spyro™ Reignited Trilogy game collection. Rekindle the fire with the original three games,Spyro™ the Dragon, Spyro™ 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro™: Year of the Dragon. Explore the expansive realms, re-encounter the fiery personalities and relive the adventure in fully remastered glory. Because when there’s a realm that needs saving, there’s only one dragon to call.

Just a few months ago, we thought we’d have been re-living the adventures of Spyro in Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon in all its remastered glory by now.  Unfortunately, as sometimes happens with games in the pursuit of perfection, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy was pushed back to November.  The news may have been initially crushing for us die-hard Spyro fans, but as someone who had a chance to play it and speak to the developers at Toys for Bob during E3 2018 and SDCC 2018, the wait will have been worth it when the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy releases November 13, 2018 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One!
