Close to the Sun Ports to Nintendo Switch Later This Year

A new indie adventure is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. Wired Productions and Storm in a Teacup‘s Close to the Sun! Check out how it looks on Nintendo Switch in the Gameplay trailer.

Back in May, Wired Productions published a fascinating first-person horror game from the Italian studio, Storm in a Teacup, called Close to the Sun. At launch, Close to the Sun released solely for PC via the Epic Games Store, with the intention to release it on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date. Now, it looks like they’ll be adding another system to port their horror game to.

Wired Productions and Storm in a Teacup have announced that their Nikola Tesla-focused game will also be arriving on Nintendo Switch. With their announcement comes a Nintendo Switch trailer, just to show how good it’ll look on the go.

Grounded in an alternative 19th Century where famed inventor and futurist Nikola Tesla was able to fulfil his potential and change the world forever, Close to the Sun sees players step aboard the Helios, a colossal vessel for scientific research, steeped in horror and mystery. As the heroine, Rose, players find themselves walking the massive area looking for their lost sister on the majestic yet mysterious ship created by Tesla. Where is Ada and what happened? Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!

Close to the Sun will release on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 later this year.
