Hasbro Reveals New Game Inspired Transformers Figures

Hasbro has revealed three new Transformers toys for fans/collectors as part of their all new Studio Series Gamer Edition line of figures.

As a Star Wars collector, I LOVE that we have a whole line of figures based on the various games. Now, it looks like Transformers fans will soon be able to get in on this action. Hasbro has announced a new Studio Series Gamer Edition line of Transformers, which will feature character designs based on their gaming appearance.

The first three figures, set to arrive this May, will be based on appearances in the War For Cybertron game (which ruled). Get your first look at them below:

Transformers Studio Series Voyager 03 Gamer Edition Optimus Prime

Bring your favorite action-packed moments from the Transformers video games into your collection with the Transformers Studio Series Voyager 03 Gamer Edition Optimus Prime action figure. Standing at 6.5” tall, Optimus Prime can convert from robot to Cybertronian truck mode in 22 steps. The figure includes an axe, 2 axe handle pieces, a blaster and Matrix of Leadership accessories. The toy also includes a removable backdrop display from the Kaon Prison Break scene that allows fans to recreate the scene at home.

Transformers Studio Series Deluxe 01 Gamer Edition Bumblebee

Bring your favorite action-packed moments from the Transformers video games into your collection with the Transformers Studio Series Deluxe 01 Gamer Edition Bumblebee action figure. Standing at 4.5” tall, Bumblebee can convert from robot to Cybertronian car mode in 22 steps. The figure includes 2 blasters and a sword accessory that attach in both modes. The toy also includes a removable backdrop display from the Defend Lacon scene that allows fans to recreate the scene at home.

Transformers Studio Series Deluxe 02 Gamer Edition Barricade

Bring your favorite action-packed moments from the Transformers video games into your collection with the Transformers Studio Series Deluxe 02 Gamer Edition Barricade action figure. Standing at 4.5” tall, Barricade can convert from robot to Cybertronian car mode in 15 steps. The figure includes a blaster accessory that attaches to Barricade in both modes. The toy also includes a removable backdrop display from the Dark Energon scene that allows fans to recreate the scene at home.
