Electronic Arts Announces Game Lineup for EA Play 2017

Last year, Electronic Arts stepped away from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in favor of having their own intimate gaming experience, EA Play.  In 2016, they showed off games like Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, FIFA 17 (and their story mode), NHL 17, and Madden NFL 17.  This year, their new Hollywood Palladium location will have a fresh new lineup that includes several sports titles and one that everyone will be clamoring to get their hands on.

At EA Play 2017, from June 10-12, gamers will be able to preview:

  • Need for Speed
  • FIFA 18
  • NBA Live 18
  • Madden NFL 18
  • Star Wars: Battlefront 2

That’s right! Gamers can not only get their hands on Madden NFL 18, but also demo Star Wars: Battlefront 2!  It’s been said that the next chapter in the Battlefront saga is going to have an actual story mode, so having gamers get their hands on it will be key to its success.  When the first Battlefront came out, fans rushed to their local stores to get their hands on it only to be disappointed by its lack of longevity.  EA Play will be crucial to gauge its success!

Tickets will be available on April 20 at 9am PT, but if you can’t make it, you can rest assured that myself and Eric (aka Fathergamer) will be there to fill you in on everything EA has to offer!
