ESA Makes Statement Amid GDC Being PostPoned, Will Stay OnTrack for E32020

After the recent scare of the Coronavirus now known as COVID-19, GDC has been postponed and this is making the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) a tad bit nervous. In a statement released to Game Informer, The ESA has confirmed it will stay on schedule with their plans for June and look forward to an exciting show in June. Full Statment below:

“Everyone is watching the situation very closely. We will continue to be vigilant, as our first priority is the health, wellness, and safety of all of our exhibitors and attendees. Given what we know at this time, we are moving ahead full speed with E3 2020 planning. Exhibit and registration sales are on track for an exciting show in June.”

With this said, games and industry vets alike are a little nervous about what is to come, but we all must realize the health and wellbeing of event attendees must come first.
