When Batman: Arkham VR was first revealed during Sony‘s E3 2016 Press Conference, they left the world speechless. In doing so, they also made it the hottest VR game at E3 2016. In fact, it even earned the E3 Game Critics Award for Best VR Game.
That being said, when I got a chance to play it at E3, I wasn’t all that impressed. For me the hype was built up too much. In reality, the demo felt like less than 3 minutes and you remain stationary the entire time. There are some cool features like grabbing and throwing stuff but that’s about it.
Now, they wouldn’t necessarily release a fan reaction trailer with those kind of comments, would they? Batman: Arkham VR is very exciting as prospective VR game releasing in October 2016. Only, contrary to the SDCC 2016 fans, the demo doesn’t really make you feel like the World’s Greatest Detective.
Hopefully the full game will when Batman: Arkham VR is available exclusively on Playstation VR on October 2016!
What do you think about the trailer?
