A few days ago, Bungie released the first bit of content for the Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass, the Season of the Forge. With that, Guardians have been able to enjoy all of the latest weaponry and new story the Black Armory has to offer, all while trying to raise their light level to compete in the first forge, Volundr. (Thankfully, Bungie just reduced the recommended level for that.) However, there is a new goal for Guardians to work toward.
Tomorrow, Friday December 7, at 9am PT, the first new raid of the Annual Pass goes live. It’s called the Scourge of the Past and it takes you into the heart of the Last City…
The Lost Scourge is a different kind of challenge for Fireteams of six who are ready to have their teamwork subjected to the ultimate test. The last safe city on Earth is no longer safe. Join the community on the starting line in a bid to become the first team in the world to defeat the final boss.
Unlike most of the Destiny raids of yesteryear, Scourge of the Past brings the fight closer to home, in an attempt to help the Black Armory secure a secret long forgotten. The trailer doesn’t reveal too much, in regards of what to expect, but the two takeaways we get are that the enemies will be Fallen and there is going to be quite of bit of Sparrow use, which is definitely a new element for the raids.
Destiny 2: Forsaken – Scourge of the Past releases December 7, 2018 at 9am PST.
