Dotemu and Tribute Games have launched a surprise, free, update to TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge to add even more retro-awesomeness to the fans.
If you wanted Shredder’s Revenge to be even more awesome, you’re in luck. Today, the developers released a surprise update (that’s completely free) on all versions of the game. Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games are celebrating the gift-giving season today by releasing a free new update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the acclaimed co-operative beat ’em up smash hit that’s sold more than 1 million copies.
The update implements Custom Game options, granting ninjas greater control over their tubular battle against the Foot Clan through 11 mix-and-match modifiers reminiscent of the dip switches found on old school arcade machines. Retro-themed filters and an extra large serving of refinements round out the surprise update, which reaches PC, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox players today.
