The franchise is finally hitting PS4 and Polyphony Digital promises that it will be the best one yet with improved visuals and physics.
There is also an emphasis on the name change to “sport” as several events will take place throughout the year for players to participate in. The franchise is also taking a new community style approach to racing and getting players together.
They note that events will follow real world racing events and players will be awarded alongside actual winners of the sport. This is due to a new partnership with the FIA.
The game will hit beta stages “early 2016.” There was no release window for the game though.
The game is also set to work with PlayStation VR.
