In today’s Inside Xbox episode, Major Nelson sat down with Xbox Series X Director of Project Management Jason Ronald to discuss and showcase some of the next-gen console power related to DirectX raytracing, variable-rate shading to audio processing, Quick Resume and storage options, including a look at the Xbox Velocity Architecture and what this entails and enables for games. The Xbox Game Pass is expanding to Korea and Japan on April 13 just in time for some new titles to be added to the ever-expanding library to console and PC: Alvastia Chronicles, Journey to the Savage Planet, Overcooked! 2, Football Manager 2020, Mistover, Stranger Things 3: The Game.
The Xbox Game Bar is introducing access to apps on PC through widgets in a customizable gaming overlay built into Windows 10, including access to apps from partners including Razer, XSplit and Intel.
Project xCloud, Microsoft’s mobile game streaming service, announced the library will be seeing some new games from EA: The Sims 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Unravel Two.
A free update for Sea of Thieves launching later this month titled Ships of Fortune is adding depth to the game’s trading companies. Players will have the chance to represent their favorite trading companies as emissaries for boosted rewards and cosmetic items.
Forza Street will be hitting iOS and Android on May 5. Players who download the game between May 5 and June 5 will receive the Founder’s Pack: a rare 2017 Ford GT, some in-game credits and gold in your message center.
The Coalition celebrated the fact that Gear’s Tactics has gone gold for PC and is set to launch on Windows 10 PC, Steam and with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) on April 28 with plans for a console version to come later this year.
Some new [email protected] titles were announced for the Xbox One, including the action-packed top-down shooter Hotline Miami Collection. We got a look at Hello Games new title The Last Campfire as well as a new trailer for Atomicrops, thee action-packed post-apocalyptic farming simulator.
