That’s because the big news to come out of Rare, yesterday, was the announcement that the Sea of Thieves Closed Beta would set sail from 4 a.m. PST on Jan. 24 to 12:00 a.m. PST on Jan. 29. If you were one of the unlucky ones who found themselves without an invitation in their cot, fear not. While those who joined the Sea of Thieves Insider Program, before December 1, 2017, received an invitation, there’s still a rather simple way of play the game early, pre-order it. Once you do that, you’ll be on your way to singing sea shanties and conquering ships in no time.
What makes this beta even more special, there isn’t an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) which means you can stream, share, post all your seafaring adventures all over the internet!
The Sea of Thieves Closed Beta kicks off January 24 and runs until the 29th. The full game releases on Xbox One and PC on March 20, 2018!
