Over the last few years, the fighting game genre has expanded to unforeseen new height with the success of games like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter V, Injustice, and even the recently announced Mortal Kombat 11. Take a look at the first trailer, featuring a surprise guest at the end.
A modern take on the 25 year franchise, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid showcases stunning graphics with vivid details. A streamlined combat system welcomes newcomers with simplified controls while maintaining depth for the most dedicated competitor to learn and master.
“Power Rangers fans have been asking for a high fidelity fighting game on console and PC that match up iconic Rangers and villains across the expansive Power Rangers multiverse for quite some time now,” said Taehoon Kim, co-founder and CEO of nWay. “We wanted to deliver this to the fans and make sure it has cross-play and cross-progression capabilities as we believe playing with friends across multiple platforms at the same time is where the future of gaming is headed.”
As Kim suggests, Battle for the Grid will feature cross-play capabilities for Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Naturally, Playstation 4 isn’t part of it, as of now. The game boasts a new way to fight that they deem isn’t as complicated as most fighting games. They say that it’s an easy to learn game, but hard to master, and that it’s all about when you strike, not how.

Those who purchase it early will receive an exclusive bonus of the Green Ranger V2 character skin (Similar to the suit Jason David Frank wore) and a digital art book.
