Today brings a surprise (and FREE) update to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which adds in a number of accessibility changes, combat challenges, and more!
To celebrate Star Wars Day, EA and Respawn have launched a completely free update to last year’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While it’s not the full story DLC some were hoping for, it brings in a number of new things that are sure to keep fans happy and give you a reason to come back for more.
The update brings New Journey + where you can replay the whole story with all our previously gathered collectibles, with quite a few new ones to find as well. Among the new cosmetics are new skins for BD-1, more parts for your Lightsaber, and even an Inquisitor Uniform.
The biggest addition to this game mode, however, is the inclusion of a new gameplay Hub called Meditation Training. These can be accessed from any meditation point you uncover in the game and will allow you to enter various Combat Challenges that puts you against ever increasing waves of enemies. On top of that, Meditation Training also brings the Battle Grid:
“A sandbox for players to create their own encounters. In it, players will be able to select a location, the size of the encounter they want to face, tinker with various difficulty modifiers, and will even feature some especially unique enemies.”
Minor changes come in the form of some accessibility options (requested by fans) that include text scaling (so closed captions are easier to read), skippable Quick-Time events, and some adjustments to simplify interacting in the world. It’s a nice way to try and open the game up for even more fans to enjoy.
The update is live now, so feel free to download and dive back into the action to celebrate Star Wars Day!
