Kazuya Mishima Has Never Looked Better in Latest Tekken 8 Gameplay Trailer

Bandai Namco decided to wet the palates of their fans with an all-new gameplay trailer from their upcoming fighter, Tekken 8. The creator of the Tekken series, Katsuhiro Harada, has already stated this will be the best Tekken ever made. The game is being built from the ground up with UNREAL Engine 5 and will not reuse anything from the previously release Tekken 7!

In the gameplay trailer, we see Kazuya Mishima face off against his son and constant rival Jin Kazama. The gameplay is super smooth, extremely fast-paced, and even showcases Kazuya’s demon mode! Though there is no set release date for this game, rumors are it will release between April of 2023 and March of 2024!

TEKKEN 8, the brand-new entry in the legendary TEKKEN franchise, brings the fight to the new generation!

A Fighter for a New Generation
Powered by Unreal Engine 5 and exclusively available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Digital, TEKKEN 8 pushes the limits of new-gen hardware and technologies. The game features high-definition character models built from the ground-up with high-fidelity skin and hair, along with immersive graphics such as muscles that shift to reflect character movement.

New Game, New Rivalry
The TEKKEN series holds the record of being the longest-running story in a video game franchise. Just as the ending dialogue of Tekken 7 mentioned, this new entry will focus on the father and son showdown between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.
