Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order Revealed As Nintendo Switch Exclusive

Some of the funnest games in 2006 and 2009 were Marvel’s superhero team-up games, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2.  However, as the years went by, the series became a bit of an afterthought, especially when Square Enix won the right to produce a game of their own.  The Game Awards revealed a delightful, and welcome, surprise in the form of a trailer for the 3rd game.  A game that you won’t be able to play everywhere…

The MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE series returns for the first time in 10 years—with a new action RPG—exclusively on the Nintendo Switch system! Assemble your ultimate team of Marvel Super Heroes from a huge cast including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and more! Team up with friends to prevent galactic devastation at the hands of the mad cosmic tyrant Thanos and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order.

It’s been 10 years since Marvel released an Ultimate Alliance game. While it’s a huge surprise, having Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 – The Black Order on Nintendo Switch makes sense. The game is all about teaming up and the Nintendo Switch was made for teaming up. We’ll see if this is just a limited exclusive or if we’ll see this again on other consoles later on.

As more news for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 – The Black Order is released, we’ll have it here on Cinelinx!
