One of the most anticipated VR game for PlayStation VR, Marvel’s Iron Man VR, was set to release next month. Now, that will no longer be the case, as Camouflaj has delayed it until May. More details within…
Delay season has been no joke in 2020. It kicked off with Square Enix pushing back Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel’s Avengers. Shortly after, CD Projekt Red did the same with Cyberpunk 2077. Now, Marvel’s Iron Man VR is the latest game to join the 2020 Delay Club.
This morning, developer Camouflaj issued a statement, announcing that the game had been moved from its February release date to May 15, 2020. Here’s what they had to say:
In order to deliver on our vision and meet the high expectations of our amazing community, we’ve made the difficult decision to move Marvel’s Iron Man VR to a May 15, 2020 release. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. You’ll be hearing from us again soon!

It’s difficult for excited players to see so many incredible-looking games get pushed to later in the year. While the impatience is annoying, it’s also fleeting. A minor inconvenience now to allow the dev team to provide extra polish and content is a small price to pay when you consider the alternative.
In Marvel’s Iron Man VR, players use the VR headset to imitate Tony Stark’s helmet and become Iron Man. I had the opportunity to demo the game last year and I found it to be an absolutely incredible experience. To read more on my Hands-On Demo, click the link.
Marvel’s Iron Man VR will now release on PlayStation VR on May 15, 2020.
