Nintendo kicked off their Direct presentation this morning with the announcement for a brand new entry in the Fire Emblem franchise: Engage!
I’m a sucker for any and all things Fire Emblem. It’s a phenomenal franchise and Three Houses was an insanely great outing for the series on the Switch. It’s been a while though, and many fans have been wondering when the next Fire Emblem game would arrive. Wonder no more!
Kicking off the Nintendo Direct, the developers revealed Fire Emblem Engage, which is set to arrive this January:
Use hero-summoning strategies to defeat an ancient threat in a brand-new Fire Emblem game . Summon valiant heroes like Marth & Celica alongside a new cast of characters and engage in turn-based, tactical combat against a great evil in this new Fire Emblem story.
Fire Emblem Engage hits Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.
