New Free-to-Play Game Set in The Division Universe Announced

Ubisoft has announced they’re expanding the world of The Division, with an upcoming novel and all new free-to-play game experience.

If you’re aching for more stories set around Tom Clancy’s The Division, you’re in luck. On top of the previously announced movie starring Jessica Chastain and Jake Gyllenhaal (which is coming to Netflix), today Ubisoft has announced even more stuff to look forward to.

First up, they’ve announced The Division Heartland. It’s a brand new free-to-play title that’s set to be a standalone experience with its own story and characters. Developer Red Storm Entertainment (who worked on the first two games) are heading up this title, with plans to launch the game on PC/consoles later this year or early 2022

That’s not all, however, as Ubisoft also announced plans to bring The Division game(s) to mobile platforms at some point, but won’t give any details on that one just yet. If you like a bit of prose with your action, there’s also a new original novel coming from Aconyte (who’s publishing those upcoming Assassin’s Creed books as well).

The book is “set after the events of The Division 2 and will explore how the Outbreak affects different regions of the United States as agents fight to secure supply routes.”

Which of these new Division projects are you looking forward to most?
