An official Nintendo account tweeted today that a livestream will be taking place on Thursday to reveal the latest addition to the Smash Bros. Ultimate roster.

The tweet by Nintendo Versus says the 35-minute long video live-stream (not Nintendo Direct) will feature an in depth look at the yet-to-be unveiled DLC fighter at 6 a.m. PST/9 a.m. EST on Jan. 16.

The live-stream will be presented by series creator Mashahiro Sakurai.

Nintendo has released four of the five announced DLC fighters for the latest iteration of the mega popular fighting game franchise: Joker from the Persona franchise, The Hero from Dragon Quest, Banjo & Kazooie and Terry from Fatal Fury. Players who purchase the Fighters Pass for $24.99 will get all five fighters (including the one to be announced Thursday), five new stages, additional tracks as well as a Mii Swordfighter costume of Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Each DLC fighter is available individually for $5.99 each.

It’s been a busy week of announcements for Nintendo.

A Pokemon Direct last week revealed a slew of news with the announcement of Pokemon Sword and Shield’s two DLC packs dropping later this year in addition to the remastering of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon’s Rescue Team Red/Blue games.

Fans have also been clamoring for a new Nintendo Direct and one aimed closely at the upcoming release of Animal Crossing in March.
