Next week’s PlayStation Showcase will focus on PS Studios, holiday releases

PlayStation dropped the news the next Showcase livestream is set for next week.

A blog post details the September 9 PlayStation Showcase will start at 11 a.m. CST and “weigh in at around 40 minutes.”

The publisher said it will include updates from PlayStation Studios in addition to “some of the industry’s most imaginative developers” to talk about games releasing this holiday season “and beyond.” The showcase will not include PlayStation VR.

PlayStation noted that after the showcase ends, there will be additional updates from some of the studio teams that are featured in the main event.
