IGN reported the game is due out this fall and will be available for direct download for Playstations 3 and 4, XBox 360, XBox One, and Windows PC.
At press time, the only information available was that the story in the game takes place between the 2nd and 3rd season. There was no actual gameplay demos available; just a teaser ad showing Korra battling dark spirits from the season 2 finale.
The developers stated players will have access to all four of Korra’s elements. In related news, Nintendo 3DS is slated to release a “turn-based strategy version” from Webfoot Technologies.
Fans are hoping this combat game will be a little more challenging when compared to Activisons strategy-combat games based on the original Last Airbender story arc. Gamers and fans of the show were both disappointed at not only the level of gameplay but the fact the stand-alone story did not resemble anything from the series or the characters being portrayed.
On a side note, Season 3 of The Legand of Korra begins with the first three episodes airing back to back Friday, June 27th on Nickelodeon.
