‘Resident Evil 4’ VR Game Launching on October 21

Facebook’s Oculus Studios released a new video today that revealed the Resident Evil 4 VR game is launching next month!

In today’s video from Oculus Studios, it was revealed that the VR version of Resident Evil 4 will launch on October 21, 2021.

While the announcement video is short, the game footage looks absolutely terrifying:

Resident Evil 4 was originally released in 2005 and has since been ported to a number of subsequent consoles, most recently the Switch in 2019. The game follows Leon S. Kennedy as the tries to rescue the president’s daughter. The game will be played in a new first-person perspective, with movement handled via analog stick. Players can move their upper body independently, and can use the Touch controller to pick up items and interact with them.
