Rise of the Tomb Raider will hit PC via Windows and Steam on January 28, 2016. That isn’t too far away and comes shortly after both Square Enix and Microsoft noted reasonable sales for the game as an Xbox One exclusive.
On PC some new features were added including Windows 10 support and 4K resolution. The game will release in digital outlets including Steam and Amazon and have physical units as well. PC players will get the standard and digital deluxe editions, which include the season pass, along with a collectors edition.
The collectors edition includes a 12-inch Lara Croft® statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case and will cost $149.
Just before this announcement Microsoft noted that the title did well on Xbox One considering it released during a hot time frame sandwiched between Fallout 4 and other hot releases. The game has just recently surpassed 1 million units sold.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will also release on PS4 later this year, but currently has no official date.
