Rumor: Nintendo Cancels June Digital Event Plans

VentureBeat is reporting that Nintendo has canceled plans for a June Nintendo Direct Event in June during what would have been E3 2020.

Nintendo made the announcement to partner developers this week that due to complications brought about from Japan’s work-from-home order as part of its attempts to mitigate COVID-19 are forcing Nintendo to push back its schedule, according to VentureBeat.

Nintendo has held a digital event corresponding with E3 since 2013.

PC Gaming Show announced last week that they will be holding a show in June this summer, alongside other online experiences including something by the Entertainment Software Association and IGN’s Summer of Gaming collaboration.
