S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Gets a New Trailer

Coming as a surprise during the Xbox Extended Showcase, Ukranian developers revealed a new trailer for the upcoming horror-shooter, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

Considering many of the developers behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl are based out of Ukraine and currently fighting a war, it was something of a surprise to see the highly-anticipated horror sequel make an appearance at the Xbox Extended Showcase. And yet, they did it with style:

Some of GSC Game World’s employees have decided to defend their country while a part of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s development continues in Kyiv. The company has also established a new office in Prague, Czech Republic, where much of the game’s development will take place.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe is based on three video games as well as numerous books, comics, and fan-fiction pieces. With over 15 million copies sold worldwide, the franchise has been critically acclaimed and fans are eagerly waiting for its return with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is still expected to launch on Xbox Series X/S and PCs in 2023.
