Stray Will Be Getting Special Physical Editions

As Stray wanders closer to release date later this month, developers revealed the game’s physical and special editions on Tuesday.

Publishers Annapurna Interactive and iam8bit, in distribution partnership with Skybound Games, opened pre-orders for the cyberpunk cat game and revealed the physical editions in a new trailer.

Stray releases digitally on July 19 on PC and PlayStation consoles. Physical editions will release on September 20.

Players who grab the physical standard edition will get 6 art cards in full color.

The im8bit Exclusive Edition will include a matte black game case, a poster, the art cardws and a “fuzzy, petable Chenille patch.” The Exclusive Edition will cost $44.99 and iam8bit said they will ship sometime in Q4 2022.

There will also be a 2XLP vinyl soundtrack available by composer Yann Van Der Cruyssen.

“The 2xLP on 180g audiophile black vinyl features futuristic packaging showcasing the atmospheric album art from Fernando Correa, completed with an elegant slipcase highlighted by foil embellishments,” the company said in a press release.

The soundtrack will retail for $41.99 and come with a digital download. It will ship early next year.
