Summer Game Fest Returns in June in Front of a Live Audience

The Summer Game Fest is returning on June 8, 2023! This will be the 4th year that Geoff Keighley’s brainchild will grace players with incredible reveals, updates, demos, interviews, and every other content that celebrates games. The difference between the previous 3 years and next Summer is that the Game Fest will finally be in front of a live audience at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park.

“Over the past three years, Summer Game Fest has cultivated an incredible community around the world through our digital-first events, and we’re thrilled to invite thousands of fans to experience the SGF show in-person for the first time in 2023,” said Geoff Keighley, curator and host, Summer Game Fest. “In keeping with tradition, we’ll have tons of exciting announcements from the developers that are pushing the games industry forward, and will once again highlight other publisher digital events, demos, and more surprises to be announced in the coming months.”

Since his falling out with the ESA, Geoff Keighley has gone on to create what many believe to be a more successful announcement platform than E3 in recent years. This was possible by making the platform a singular place to find new content regarding the most anticipated upcoming games. Plus, by giving games the pomp and circumstance they deserve, more and more publishers came to trust the event with their games.

Now, Keighley and co. will look to do it live. Tickets to attend will be available to purchase in Early 2023. However, if you can’t make it to California, the YouTube and Twitch streams will still be available.
