‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ Adds Pyra and Mythra from ‘Xenoblade Chronicles 2’

When the 50-minute Nintendo Direct was announced, Nintendo made sure to note that there would be an update on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Rather than make us pine any longer for the new character, Nintendo opted to kick off the showcase with the reveal.

Midway through a 4-minute trailer, that saw Rex searching everywhere for Pyra, it was revealed that both Pyra and Mythra of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a switchable character.

Both Pyra and Mythra look like perfect additions to the fighter, as they are the perfect balance of strength and speed. Furthermore, the addition of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 stage looks absolutely mind-blowing, albeit small by comparison.

Pyra and Mythra will join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in March as part of the Fighter Pass.
