Bandai Namco dropped a new gameplay trailer for the remastered version of Tales of Symphonia.

The trailer focuses on the JRPG’s real-time combat system, including the Tech abilities and team-based Unison attacks, as well as the variety of weapons, armor, and accessories available to equip. There is also an “Optimal” menu selection that equips the best gear available in the player inventory with the quick quick click of a button.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered is set in the world of Sylvarant, a dying land in dire need of a constant source of mana, where legend dictates that a Chosen One will appear to regenerate and restore the world. Players will follow the adventures of Lloyd Irving and his friends as they embark on a worldwide adventure filled with unforgettable characters and an emotionally charged storyline that still resonates with longtime fans and will appeal to anyone who appreciates stirring game narratives.

The game will also feature couch co-op local multiplayer for up to three additional players.

Players who pre-order the Chosen Edition will get a commemorative metal case and exclusive art. The Chosen Edition is available through the Bandai Namco store.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered will launch on February 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
