Bandai Namco has brought a new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot to TGS 2019! In it, we get the long-awaited release date and confirmation that our journey will take us through the epic Buu Saga! More within…
Since its reveal, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has quickly become one of the most highly-anticipated games of now-2020. It was first teased that we’d be navigating a few of the Dragon Ball Z stories, i.e. the first saga with Raditz, Nappa, and Prince Vegeta and the Namek Saga with Frieza.
The story expanded last month with the addition of the Cell Saga (My personal favorite). Now, it’s confirmed that we’ll journey through every single major story arc, as the latest trailer from TGS 2019 has featured the Buu Saga! Check it out!
Developed as the most expansive and accurate retelling of Goku’s life, DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT will take players through their favorite DRAGON BALL Z story arcs, meet beloved friends, battle powerful enemies, and bring light to some long-running DRAGON BALL Z mysteries as well. No other game has ever told Goku’s life story in such detail and with such vivid presentation.
Along with the addition of the Buu Saga, the latest trailer also finally announced the release date. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs via STEAM on January 17, 2020. Sounds like the perfect way to kick off the New Year to me!
Furthermore, Bandai Namco announced several ways to buy the game. First, there is your standard base game with no frills. Then there is the Deluxe Edition, which includes the Season Pass and a deluxe cooking item. Next is the Ultimate Edition, which adds a different “ultimate” cooking item, a music compilation, and a unique aerial vehicle to use in-game called the Tao Pai Pai Pillar. Finally, there is the Collector’s Edition, which comes with a diorama, art book, and steel case.
No matter which one you choose, each version will also include the following pre-order bonus.
