After getting hit with a delay earlier this year, the Nintendo Switch version of The Outer Worlds now has a release date coming this Summer.
If you’ve been eager to play the Sci-Fi RPG from Obsidian on the go, you only have a few more months to wait as the developers have announced a new release date for The Outer Worlds on Switch. Early last month the Switch version was delayed due to office closures in dealing with the Coronavirus. Today, however, they’ve announced gamers will be able to enjoy it this Summer on June 5th, which will now come on a Cartridge as well as digital.
The retail version of the game will be available in both a physical cartridge and digital download. Upon release, the game will be accompanied by a day one patch that could take up to 6GB of space. This patch improves the overall experience by adding hi-res textures, various gameplay optimizations, and more.
