Tomorrow is in Your Hands in the Death Stranding Release Date Trailer

Hideo Kojima has just released the latest trailer for his highly-anticipated debut title from Kojima Productions, Death Stranding.  Learn more about the mysterious game within…

Over the last three years, no game has been more mysterious or more anticipated than Hideo Kojima‘s Death Stranding. Since its reveal at E3 2016, gamers have tried to decipher each trailer like it’s the secret to life, itself, only to fail miserably. It truly has become gaming’s biggest question mark.

Here’s what we know so far. Norman Reedus is Sam, a Delivery Man (of sorts),  God-like beings oversee this world, Infant babies offer some sort of protection, the world is riddled with invisible creatures with black hand-prints, Troy Baker (Higgs) is the man that wears a creepy gold mask and summons the dark creatures, and Mads Mikkelson (Cliff), Guillermo Del Toro (Deadman), Lea Seydoux (Fragile), Margaret Qualley (Mama), Nicolas Winding Refn (Heartman), Tommie Earl Jenkins (Die-Hardman) and Lindsay Wagner (Amelie) have parts to play.

Makes sense, right? Well, fortunately, Hideo Kojima has released another trailer for Death Stranding, via the PlayStation Twitch page. It revealed new gameplay and more insight into this chaotic world. Here it is…

The new information we got from this trailer are that the Babies that help us are known as “Bridge Babies”, Death Stranding is set in America, Norman Reedus’ Sam works for an organization known as Bridges, and the black figures are called “BT”s.  Oh, and that it’s absolutely insane-looking.

In a massive surprise, the trailer also revealed the release date for Death Stranding.  It’ll arrive exclusively on PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019! We still don’t know what this game is, but we now know when we’ll be able to find out.
