2019 saw Nintendo gamers, young and old, help our favorite green-clad Mario brother navigate his way through yet another haunted household in Luigi’s Mansion 3. The game was so well-received by critics and the public that it won several awards, more specifically Best Family Game at this year’s Game Awards.
However, 2019 was just the beginning for Luigi. Nintendo has announced that 2020 will see a new Multiplayer Pack release in two parts, one in the Spring and the other in the Summer.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack Part 1 will release on April 30, 2020 and will feature the following:
- Three new mini-games for the multiplayer ScreamPark mode.
- Three new outfits for Luigi with matching floor themes and new themed ghosts in the cooperative ScareScraper mode.
- As a special bonus for those who purchase the DLC, players will receive an in-game Polterpup light called the Flashlight Type-P (Pictured). Players can use this during Story Mode or ScareScraper.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack Part 2 releases on July 31, 2020 and will add three more mini-games to ScreamPark, along with three more ScareScraper outfits with matching floor themes and themed ghosts.
The two parts of the Multiplayer Pack cannot be purchased separately. Instead, they’re both available to pre-purchase now for $9.99 via the Nintendo Eshop on your Nintendo Switch.
So, grab your friends and family and prepare to hunt even more ghosts next year. Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack Part 1 releases on April 30, 2020, followed by Part 2 on July 31, 2020. Luigi’s Mansion 3 is out now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
