Ubisoft and Parsec Finalize Remote Streaming Strategic Deal

Ubisoft and Parsec finalized a strategic deal today that will allow the video game publisher to leverage Parsec’s peer-to-peer remote streaming service to advance game streaming efforts.

Ubisoft utilized Parsec’s technology to provide remote game demos of Watch Dogs: Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during Ubisoft Forward on July 12.

“Over the course of the multi-day event, more than 1,000 game industry and media professionals had the opportunity to seamlessly play these groundbreaking titles from anywhere in the world,” a press release said. “This strategic deal will allow Ubisoft to build upon the success of Ubisoft Forward, and create new, inventive streaming experiences using Parsec’s technology.”
