Ubisoft Introduces Two New Heroes and Modes For Season 4 of For Honor

Ubisoft is gearing up for the next season of their medieval conqueroring game, For Honor.  As they’ve done with each season, they’re introducing new heroes, maps, game modes, and even a Free Weekend!  The new heroes for this season will be the Samurai clan’s Aramusha and the Viking’s own Shaman.  See them in action and hear from the developers in Ubisoft’s Season 4 highlight trailer.

  • Aramusha (Samurai Hybrid) – Wielding dual katanas, the Aramusha use their blades for both offense and defense. Navigating the battlefield carefully, they are capable of dodging and attacking quickly. The Aramusha capitalize on the mistakes of their opponents and punish them with a never ending flow of fast attacks in every direction.
  • Shaman (Viking Assassin) – Equipped with a hatchet and a dagger, Shamans utilize these two different weapons with quick and deadly precision. They are fierce and aggressive warriors who are strongest when on the offensive. Pouncing on their opponents like wild beasts, Shamans become more deadly as their opponents bleed out onto the battlefield.

In addition to these characters being available on November 14 for Season Pass holders, November 21st for everyone else, Season 4 will also feature two new maps Market Town and Gauntlet.  These will be playable, along with all the other maps, in For Honor’s brand new game modes, Ranked Dominion and Tribute.

Tribute introduces a brand new way to play the game, in which teamwork and communication are more important than ever. In this new objective-based mode players fight for control of three Offerings scattered throughout the map and aim to bring them to their teams’ Shrines and secure victory. Upon the presentation of an Offering, each Shrine grants the entire team a unique buff, forcing players to make strategic choices on where to place their Offerings. In addition to this new mode, For Honor competitive play will continue to expand with the introduction of Ranked Dominion mode later on within the season, allowing players to team up with friends and compete online for glory and in-game rewards.

Finally, if you haven’t experience For Honor, Ubisoft will be extending an invitation to play in the form of a Free Weekend.  Pre-loading will be available starting November 7 and will include five intense multiplayer modes, a campaign playable solo or with a friend in online co-op, as well as the entire roster of diverse and unique heroes that have been updated over nine months of gameplay changes.  If you decide to purchase after playing, discounts up to 60% off will be available, as well as all of your saved content.
