Ubisoft to hold Assassin’s Creed Celebration Livestream Tomorrow

Ubisoft took to social media to announce a Assassin’s Creed Celebration Livestream will take place tomorrow morning.

The livestream will begin at 11 a.m. CST on the Ubisoft Youtube and Twitch channels.

The company did not share any details aside from the obvious fact the stream will focus on the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

No word has been shared on what the next direct entry into the franchise will be, but we learned last summer about Ubisoft’s new live service Assassin’s Creed: Infinity. The live service was described as an ever-evolving online game similar to GTA Online and Fortnite. A Bloomberg report said the service was not expected to live until 2024.

The livestream is floating in the wake of Summer Game Fest, the Xbox + Bethesda Games Showcase and, later today, a Capcom livestream that starts today at 5 p.m. CST.

The last entry into the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, launched in November 2020 and saw the release of the last DLC Dawn of Ragnarök in March.

Ubisoft has been known to release new entries into the franchise every year or two, meaning we’re up for some sort of reveal — new game or live service, whatever it may be.
