The purpose of this morning’s trailer is to put the focus on the game’s story. So you won’t see a whole lot of gameplay, with everything being pulled from cinematics instead…But that’s okay. We’ve seen tons of gameplay already, so it’s not a bad thing to sit back and look at the incredibly pretty visuals on display:
While it’s a “story” trailer, it actually doesn’t give out a whole lot of plot information. I don’t really care as it still offers some great looks at the characters, reminding us why we care, and it looks incredible. I fell in love with the Uncharted series when it first debuted because of it’s storytelling, and I can’t wait to see how this one plays out.
Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.
What do you guys think of today’s new trailer? Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End hits PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2016.
