Uncover the Secrets of Dr. Wu in Jurassic World Evolution DLC

If you’ve been looking to expand your park even further in Jurassic World Evolution, you’ll get the chance later this month with some official DLC. Launching on November 20th (for PS4, Xbox One, and PCs), the $15 DLC pack adds in some all new story missions with a familiar face: Dr. Henry Wu!

BD Wong returns to voice the character for the game as you work with him on hidden research facilities to grow even more hybrid dinosaurs. On top of new dinosaurs to play around with, you’ll get new upgrades and stuff to use for the rest of your parks. There’s even a fancy new trailer to show off some of these goods:

Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu unlocks new campaign missions, putting players in control of two hidden research facilities on Isla Muerta and Isla Tacaño where Dr. Henry Wu, voiced by BD Wong, is developing a new generation of hybrid dinosaurs. Players will confront an elevated level of chaos and threat caused by Wu’s machinations as they work alongside the doctor and discover new dig sites, facility upgrades and research opportunities.

Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu also introduces the herbivore Olorotitan and the venomous Troodon to Jurassic World Evolution, alongside three new Wu-created hybrids: the Stegoceratops, Ankylodocus and Spinoraptor. Players can progress through Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu missions to unlock new upgrades and research options that can be used throughout the Jurassic World Evolution campaign, including the Indominus Rex’s unique camouflage gene as seen in 2015’s Jurassic World.

Better yet, even if you don’t pick up the DLC, November 20th brings a free update for all players that will bring new contracts, a day/night cycle, and behaviors for the dinosaurs. While, we weren’t terribly impressed with the game upon it’s initial release, the subsequent add-ons (like the sand box) and these upcoming additions have certainly added a lot of great looking value to the game.

Will you be snagging the Dr. Wu addition later this month?
