Waste Enemies to the Beat in Rhythm-Based Looter Shooter Soundfall

Gamers got a peek at gameplay for the rhythm-based looter shooter Soundfall courtesy of Gamescom yesterday.

The gameplay teaser trailer showcased how players will blast, hack and slash through dungeons with enemy encounters that are procedurally generated to the beat of the music.

Soundfall features a massive, multi-genre music library to accompany the bright visuals and fast gameplay.

The main story and free play mode can be enjoyed by up to four people playing locally or online.

“We are excited to release the new Soundfall teaser trailer alongside Noodlecake’s collaboration announcement with Drastic Games,” COO of Noodlecake Ryan Holowaty said. “With Soundfall, we’re turning the challenge dial up to 11, and look forward to gamers experiencing a new universe of music and breathtaking rhythm-based combat as they defend Symphonia from the forces of Discord.”

Soundfall will launch in 2022 on consoles and PC.
