Witcher 3’s First Expansion Pack Gets Release Date And Teaser

The Wither 3: Wild Hunt will see the first expansion titled Hearts of Stone on October 13! The teaser posted above shows off where the story will go and people playing the games should be just fine with it!

The expansion is said to add an additional 10 hours of gameplay and open up two new areas titled No Man’s Land and Oxenfurt. Players will also be met with a character named “mysterious man of glass,” and he will send you on quests in these areas.

“Step again into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, this time hired to defeat a ruthless bandit captain, Olgierd von Everec, a man who possesses the power of immortality,” reads a line from the Hearts of Stone description. “This expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ packs over 10 hours of new adventures, introducing new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance, and a brand new storyline shaped by your choices.”

“The expansion lets you choose your own path through an experience that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost, and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures Geralt has ever faced.”

The expansion also introduced a new “Runeworld” system that allows you to experiment with different play styles and experiences.

It should also be noted the quests in the expansion are made for 30+ levels, but anyone can play them regardless if they beat the main game yet or not. (You just might get your butt handed to you!) Lastly it appears that Shani, the red haired lady from the first game, will make a return in the expansion.
