X018 Round-up: Xbox Reveals a Slew of New Trailers and Offers

Here are all of the game trailers revealed, during X018, starting with the exclusives…

Crackdown 3 – Wrecking Zone Multiplayer

As announced in X018, Crackdown 3’s ultimate multiplayer combat arena, Wrecking Zone, is here. Two teams of five battle for interagency in a fully-destructible environment. Jump in and Step Up Your Boom!

Sea of Thieves – The Arena Free Content

As announced at X018, The Arena is the latest content update from Sea of Thieves. Prove your worth to the Sea Dogs as you battle to the top of The Arena in an all new PVP based mode coming to the Sea of Thieves in Early 2019!

Void Bastards

A revolutionary new kind of strategy shooter inspired by BioShock and System Shock 2. Can you lead the misfit prisoners of the Void Ark through the derelict spaceships and myriad dangers of the Sargasso Nebula? Will you make the right choices about what to do, where to go and when to fight? Master combat, manage ship controls, scavenge supplies, craft improvised tools and much more.

PUBG Arrives on Xbox Game Pass

As announced at X018, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is joining Xbox Game Pass. With Xbox Game Pass, you get unlimited access to over 100 great games for one low monthly price, so now is the perfect time to assemble your squad and fight to be the last ones standing.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice – Game Pass Trailer

As announced in X018, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is coming to Game Pass on December 14th All footage captured directly from Xbox One X and presented in 4K & HDR.

State of Decay 2 – Zedhunter Content Pack

As announced at X018, post-apocalyptic world you know is expanding. With new swords like Wraith, Mamba, and Masterwork Bokken and new consumables such as Zedbait, Zedeye, and Zedrenaline, you’ll experience new ways to build your community, fight off rival players, and kill zombies. All in pursuit of the ultimate goal: survival.

Other exclusive announcement include new DLCs and the acquisition of Obsidion Entertainment (KOTOR/South Park: The Stick of Truth) and inXile Entertainment (Wasteland/Hunted: The Demon’s Forge).

  • Debuted the first new expansion for Forza Horizon 4 called Fortune Island
  • Announced that the Minecraft Marketplace has reached 77 partners who have driven more than 13 million purchase since it launched last June

Battlefield V – Xbox Enhanced Trailer

Check out the enhancements brought to Battlefield V on the Xbox One X! Featuring 4K Ultra HD and HDR support on Xbox One X, leading to enhanced visuals allowing you to lead your squad to victory in the highest fidelity Battlefield title ever. It’s the best looking console experience launching worldwide on November 20.

Devil May Cry 5 – Void Mode First Look

Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker joined director Hideaki Itsuno from Capcom’s head office in the vibrant city of Osaka to show off the rich culture of the city and share how the team draws from their surroundings. Itsuno provided insight into how Capcom’s action games are influenced by the Osaka area, before giving Inside Xbox a first look at the comprehensive training mode he’s created for Devil May Cry 5 – dubbed ‘The Void’. As a first for Xbox fans, Itsuno gave a personal tour of Nero’s Devil Breakers, including the bonus Devil Breakers available in the Deluxe Edition content of Devil May Cry 5.

Just Cause 4 – Eye of the Storm Cinematic Trailer

Just Cause 4 introduces a new adrenaline-fuelled chapter for rogue agent Rico Rodriguez. After Rico lands in Solís to uncover the truth behind his father’s death, he will be fighting the ruthless Black Hand militia in extreme conditions; led by the ruthless Gabriela, this is Rico’s ultimate challenge. A storm is approaching; are you ready to bring the thunder? Just Cause 4 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on 4th December 2018.

Kingdom Hearts III – Winnie the Pooh Trailer

Sora returns to 100 Acre Wood with KINGDOM HEARTS III! Check out additional gameplay revealing Sora’s team-up attacks with Rapunzel and Captain Jack Sparrow. Watch the forces of light and darkness gather as the battle for KINGDOM HEARTS approaches!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider – The Forge DLC Trailer

Experience The Forge in solo or co-op on November 13th, the first of seven new adventures for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Brave the lava-flooded Forge of the fallen gods to uncover the secrets of a lost city! Conquer this all-new challenge tomb, playable solo or in co-op, and unlock the new Brocken outfit, Umbrage 3-80 weapon, and Grenadier skill. Along the way, Lara must uncover details of a friend’s ancient legacy, and overcome a danger thought to be lost in flames.

Minecraft – Cats & Pandas

A nap-off gone wrong leaves cat and panda relations in shambles. After many failed attempts at peace, the two sides find common ground.

Other announcements made at X018 were:

  • Bandai Namco‘s Jump Force adds SSGSS Vegeta and Golden Frieza
  • Revealed that Xbox One X enhanced versions of Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and LIGHTNING RETURNS: Final Fantasy XIII will be added to the Back Compat catalogue and that Civilization Revolution, already available in the Backward Compat library, will be receiving an Xbox One X Enhanced update on Nov. 13
  • Announced that mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One will arrive next week, with select titles enabled at launch
  • Announced that the Xbox Adaptive Controller will launch in new markets worldwide
  • Announced general availability of the Xbox Game Pass mobile app for iOS and Android
  • Debuted #givewithXbox, a new campaign that enables Xbox fans to give back to four inspirational charities

Finally, X018 also gave us a look at all of the Black Friday deals Xbox will have to offer, so gamers can get their hands on some of gaming’s most powerful hardware.
