Zombieland Co-Op Game Fills in the Gaps Between Films

There’s a sizable gap between the two Zombieland films, and a newly announced video game tie-in will let you fill in some of that with a friend.

Because you always need zombie games to enjoy with others, today brings the announcement of Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip. As the name implies, it’s a tie-in to the upcoming movie sequel that allows you to play as the characters from the films, but will fill in some of the story gaps between the two movies.

Set after the events of the first movie, Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip is a ridiculously fun top-down twin-stick shooter featuring local co-op multiplayer for up to four players. Play as your favorite heroes from the original — Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock — as well as new unlockable characters from the upcoming sequel.

Use your special abilities, an arsenal of weapons and the essential Zombieland rules for survival to stay alive against huge numbers of uniquely grotesque and dangerous undead monstrosities in Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip’s story-based campaign mode, wave-based horde mode, and ongoing daily and weekly challenges.

Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip will launch October 15, 2019, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
