Marvel’s Young Heroes Get Their Own Book

Champions is the newest series debuting at Marvel. The book is being written by Mark Waid (Kingdom Come, Original Sin) and art by Humberto Ramos (Impulse, Runaways). Filling out the team will be the younger Cyclops/Scott Summers, Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Sam Alexander/Nova, Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Amadeus Cho/The Hulk, and Viv Vision.

 I like the fact that we have another team with a unique makeup and some of my current favorite characters, cept for Amadeus Cho, I don’t really give a crap about him as Hulk. Now yes this story has been used before as it seems the young heroes are striking out on their own for some reason but the alternate cover by Alex Ross has three of them burning their Avengers ID cards. Look for this book later this year and of course my review on Picks from the Rack.
