I Know What You Did Last Summer Comes to 4K for the First Time in September

I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Philippe, 1997

To mark the 25th anniversary of the horror classic, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Sony is giving the film the 4K Ultra HD treatment.

As Scream dominated the box office and horror/slasher genre in the 90s, a slew of copycats launched in the years after. Most were…not great. A few managed to stand out, however, including I Know What You Did Last Summer (not the sequel though).

The film turns 25 this year, and to celebrate, it’s coming to the 4K format for the very first time on September 27, 2022. Even better, there will be new deleted scenes and alternate ending included!

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar star with Freddie Prinze, Jr., Ryan Phillippe and Johnny Galecki in this terrifying tale of teenage suspense. After an accident on a winding road, four teens make the fatal mistake of dumping their victim’s body into the sea. Exactly one year later, the four friends’ deadly secret resurfaces as they’re stalked by a hook-handed figure looking for more than just an apology…
